Duccio Corsini is the new President of the Grandi Cru Association of the Tuscan Coast.
Ginevra Venerosi Pesciolini, founding partner of the Association and owner of Tenuta di Ghizzano is leaving the presidency after 17 years honourable service.
In these ever faster changing digital times and with new challenges ahead it is necessary to have a key figure that not only has a thorough knowledge of the territory but, at the same time knows how to manage the social and environmental requirements of the area. These words introduce Duccio to the new and important tasks he must face.
As sole director of the Grandi Cru Association of the Tuscan Coast Duccio Corsini will be an active ambassador and proactive in the Tuscan coastal wine production.
Apart from being the owner of La Marsiliana and Le Corti, Duccio Corsini holds numerous other important offices, it is impossible not to mention his position on the Chianti Classico board of directors, founder and member of the San Casciano board of directors and area delegate of the Florence Provincial Farmers Union.
His vision will bring a lot of experience to the Association – founded in May 2003 – with his intention not only to defend and protect but also to spread the culture of the wines born in the Massa, Lucca, Pisa, Livorno and Grosseto areas.
Over the years the Association has proven to be both present and proactive in the enhancement and promotion of all its locations, attaining significant goals such as the formal recognition of the IGT Costa Toscana.
We are sure that under this new leadership the Association will continue to work hard and protect an area which deserves both care and great respect.
