Autoctono Campano, the hashtag on the social goes on Vesuvio

After 3 days the Vesuvio weekend is coming to the end. The event was organised by AutoctonoCampano, a group of Sommelier, bloggers and wine lovers that spent a lovely time on the foothill of the Vulcan to discover new grape varieties and wines.

During the weekend (7-8-9 August), it has been open a countless number of bottles, visited vineyards and cellars without be scared of the high temperatures in August.

A wine-experience that involved, thank to the founders of #AutoctonoCampano, 18 wine lovers from all around the boots.

The tour, between Terzigno, Trecase, Boscotrecase and Pompei started with the winery Tenuta Le Lune del Vesuvio, to continue withCasa Setaro, Sorrentino and Bosco de’ Medici. The wineries, all part of the “Consorzio tutela vini del Vesuvio Dop”, made of the guys their guests, opening the road of the wine land Vesuvio. The wineries, all tutelated by Consozrio Tutela dei vini del Vesuvio Dop that helped AutoctonoCampano are: Alois, Vigne Chigi, Mustilli, Terre Stregate, Selvanova, Villa Raiano, I Borboni, Vigne Irpine and Cantine Monte Somma Vesuvio.

Everything started from the social group of AutoctonoCampano, a movement born at the beginning of 2021 to promote the grapes of the region Campania. The group after the experience in Cilento decided to discover the beauty of the Vesuvio. The group, after the experience in the hinterland and the one in Cilento, decided to let people talk about Vesuvius and its beauties.

The event planners: Nello Gatti (@nello.gatti / www.lambasciatore.com), Francesca Mafrici (@Ma_lafra), Immacolata Mauro and Paolo Gurrera (@megliodibere_vino / www.megliodibere.com) and Stefano Franzoni (@stefano_franzoni), believe that the spirits “to be together” like on the Vesuvio is the right one to go on.

A never end emotion, from the first to the last day: from the walk under the Pergola Vesuviana, the wine taste, the grapes (Caprettone, Catalanesca and Piedirosso some of them). Errore. Il nome file non è specificato.

To underline the AutoctonoCampano Dinner, which location has been Casa Setaro. A dinner that so as stars the Setaro wines and other wines from all the region, tasting blind! The wineries helped AutoctonoCampano are: Alois, Vigne Chigi, Mustilli, Terre Stregate, Selvanova, Villa Raiano, I Borboni, Vigne Irpine and Cantine Monte Somma Vesuvio.

Cantine quali: Alois, Vigne Chigi, Mustilli, Terre Stregate, Selvanova, Villa Raiano, I Borboni, Vigne Irpine e Cantine Monte Somma Vesuvio.

From the bubbles to the cakes, the attendees taste the Campania wines and more. The 3 days finished with the VESUVIO BOX, a box with only typical vesuvian products: From the pomodorino del piennolo dry and fresh (@lorodelvesuvio), to the apricot jam, mela annurca and saffron jam (@ortocontrovento) and small tomato jam (@nia_restaurant) until the mezzopacchero pasta shape (@arteepasta).

The three days ended with VESUVIO BOX, with all the typical Vesuvian Food. (@lorodelvesuvio), jam, apples and saffron (@ortocontrovento) tomatoes jam (@nia_restaurant) and pasta (@arteepasta). In short, a complete package to take home not only the memory of this wonderful experience.

And now after this success, I advise you to follow these guys because we will see some good ones, Campania has found new friends.
